Gergő Zalán Molnár – Rubik’s Cube Speedcubing Hungarian

National Record Holder in 3×3 Average

I am Gergő Zalán Molnár, 13-years-old speedcuber from Hungary.

Fascinated by the Rubik’s Cube for five years, I was completely captivated by speedcubing, and entered this world in March 2023 when I managed to attend my first international competition.
Since then, I have almost always achieved podium finishes in 3×3 cube competitions this year.

My greatest accomplishment came on July 6, 2024, at the Hungarian All-rounder: Holiday 2024 competition, where I improved the national 3×3 cube record with an incredible 7.1-second average, currently ranking 99th in Europe (WCA Europe ranking list).

I also excel in the 2×2 cube, securing multiple podium positions and holding the second place on the Hungarian ranking list, just behind the national record holder. I currently rank 147th in Europe for this event. I am thrilled to have been invited to the 3×3 cube competition in Chongqing, China, on August 2, 2024.

My competition schedule also includes the Luzice Open in Luzice, Czech Republic, on August 10-11.

I aim to participate in prestigious European competitions monthly while continuing to compete in Hungary.

My ultimate goal is to qualify for the World Championships in Seattle in the summer of 2025.

To achieve this, i am looking for sponsors from both individuals and corporations.
